I wanted to give everyone a peek into the future of 2 Wheeled Rider (website and YouTube channel).
Yesterday, the ECEA Hare Scramble season wrapped up so Noah and I are (likely) finished racing for the rest of 2017. He took 5th in the 50cc class over the weekend and finished 4th in the 7-10 trail class. Ultimately, he ended up 6th place in the final championship standings. I scored my first and only point of the season by placing 20th in C Veteran. With race season over, I now have a little more time to devote to 2 Wheeled Rider. So what’s next?
This week I’ll be concentrating my time working on the Cross Country Trip Travel Series. Day One went live today and I hope to have the second video finished for next Monday. While I still plan to post 2 videos per week, I may only be posting one video from the travel series each week so that could roll into early 2018 before they are all up…we’ll see.
This Thursday’s video is a more vlog-style type of Back in the Garage episode featuring 3 different motorcycles.
Speaking of Back in the Garage, there will be some special guests in upcoming episodes.
Expect a 2nd half of the season wrap-up video of Noah’s Hare Scramble season.
Kristen and my sister Angela came trail riding with Noah and me out at Boyer Farm so there should be a video about that before the end of the year.
My sister and I are traveling to North Carolina next month for something really cool that involves motorcycles.
There will also be an entire maintenance series on my KTM 1290 Super Adventure since I’m coming up on a major service interval.
That’s kinda what we are looking at video-wise for the next few months but…that’s just the tip of the iceberg. 2 Wheeled Rider has grown immensely in 2017 thanks to you guys! We started the year with 676 subscribers and we’re about to pass the 4,000 sub mark later this week…it’s insane!
I’ve recently teamed up with a major player in the ADV community…I’m not ready to announce who yet but I will be soon and it’ll mean even better content for you guys!
I’m in the early planning stages of a special event for 2018. Once I get a few more things locked down, look for an announcement on that in the upcoming months.
It wouldn’t be winter at 2 Wheeled Rider HQ without a project bike. If things go as planned there should be a series of videos on it plus some videos once it’s completed.
I’m still working on book number two and I’m still hoping to have it available in the 1st quarter of 2018.
As you can see I have a TON of cool stuff planned to 2 Wheeled Rider in the upcoming months and year. You may have noticed I didn’t mention my travel plans for next year’s trip. It’s still early in the process but if I can get it all worked out…it’ll be the most epic trip yet!
