In July of 2024 my sister and I rode my 2021 KTM 890 ADV R and 2016 KTM 1290 Super Adventure, respectively to Deadhorse, AK. In this video I share when I did to prepare the bikes for the trip and then how they held up and/or any issues either bike had along the way.

Leaving Tupelo, MS, the weather was less than great. The temperature had dropped and I chanced the rain all the way to Huntington, WV. On the final day of the trip, I had planned to ride some of the epic West Virginia mountain roads but the 35 degree temps, wet asphalt and fog lead me back to the interstate which I had to take the rest of the way home. Leaving Birmingham, AL on the 3rd day of my (late-in-the-year) motorcycle, I headed south to until I ran out of land in Mississippi and then continued west to the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway ending up in New Orleans, LA for the day/night. The following day I left New Orleans and headed toward Natchez, MS where I picked up the Natchez Trace Parkway riding it up to Tupelo, MS for the night.
