In part 2 of the 2024 Alaska Motorcycle Trip series we start the ride in Kalispell, MT. Unfortunately, we have to ride around Glacier National Park to get to the Babb, MT border crossing to get to customs. Once through customs we end the day in Banff, AB.

After a year off, my sister Angela is back as we take on our biggest motorcycle adventure yet…the Dalton Highway to Deadhorse, AK (or Prudhoe Bay if you prefer). We do things a little different this year as you’ll see in the video. Her Ducati is staying home as she rides my 2021 KTM 890 ADV R and of course I’m back on my 2016 KTM 1290 Super Adventure which had over 62,000 miles on it BEFORE starting the trip.

In this video I share my thoughts on what it’s like to ride the Dalton Highway on a motorcycle as well as some tips for those who want to give it a try. On our trip in July of 2024 I rode my 2016 KTM 1290 Super Adventure while my sister rode my 2021 KTM 890 ADV R. Hope you find some value in the video!
