The first ever 2WR ADV event started on Friday, October 8, 2021 with dinner at my house. On Saturday, October 9th we have everyone back over to the house for breakfast before taking off on a 2 day ADV ride. We had guys attend from all over the country on all sorts of different motorcycles. We have KTMs, Yamahas, Hondas, BMWs, Triumph, Suzuki and yes even the new Harley Davidson Pan Americas. …Brian, Tyler, Pete, Rusty and I took off on a Sunday morning to go do some off-road exploring in West Virginia. We rode about 90 minutes of pavement to get to the off-road area we wanted to ride. Despite some wet conditions in the morning, the route did NOT disappoint. We had a great time ADV riding and can’t wait to get back to do some more exploring.

…On July 17, 2021 I turned 40. We took my 2021 KTM 1290 Super Adventure and my sister’s 2012 Ducati Multistrada on an overnight trip throughout West Virginia. We checked out Douglas Falls, got pie from Gateway Family Restaurant, and stopped by Cass Scenic Railroad before stopping in Snowshoe for the night.

…We start the final day on the MABDR in State College, PA picking up Section 7 at about the halfway point. After finishing Section 8 at 4:45pm, we had one Section left to go finishing up Section 9 at about 7:15pm.

…After not enjoying the first couple of sections and the mechanical issue in section 3, I decided to continue on the MABDR. On the 3rd part of the series we start on Section 5 while picking up some additional riders along the way. We also complete Section 6 and about half of Section 7 before staying in State College, PA for the night.
