For the last few years, I’ve referred to Million Dollar Highway as my “Eleanor.” My first attempt to ride it was in 2015 but severe storms in the area forced me to reroute the trip. I missed it again in 2017. In 2020 I was set to make the attempt once again but a failed fuel pump cost me 3 down days forcing me to make the tough decision to miss it once again. They say “3’s a charm” but for me it was 4 as I finally got to ride it in 2021. We had some fun riding from Pueblo, CO to Durango too. Silverton and Ouray were cool to check out and it was great to meet Brandon along the way. We eventually ended our ride in Grand Junction for the night.
