While the Wild and Wonderful Weekend event for Spring of 2018 has a full roster (and a long wait list), everyone is still welcome to join me and others for the Ducati Demo Event and the cookout back at my house on Thursday, June 7, 2018.
Demo Rides
On Thursday, June 7, 2018 I will be hanging out at Ducati Winchester and leading demo rides from 12:00pm-4:00pm (approx), but you’re more than welcome to come earlier and stay later as Ducati Winchester is open from 10:00am-6:00pm. At the time of his writing, they have many new models available for demo including but not limited to the Multistrada Enduro Pro, Monster 821, Multistrada 1260S, Scrambler Desert Sled, Scrambler Cafe Racer, Hypermotard, XDiavel S, Diavel, Panigale 959, Panigale V4S with more models being delivered very soon. In order to take part in the demo rides, you MUST have a motorcycle license or endorsement on your driver’s license and you will be required to sign a waiver. Please don’t forget to bring your license.
If you bought a copy of my book, Motorcyclist’s Guide to Travel from Amazon and would like it signed, bring it with you (all copies bought through my website are signed). Motorcyclist’s Guide to Travel will be available for only $15 and the few remaining Back in the Garage Caps will be available for $20. I’ll also bring a stack of stickers along.
Cookout
The cookout will begin at 6:00pm but you’re welcome to arrive as early as 5:00/5:30pm. There is plenty of parking available at my house. Burgers, dogs, sides and beer/other drinks will be provided.
The cookout is FREE to attend however some riders not attending the weekend ride have reached out to me asking if they can throw some cash in for the food, so I’ll have a donation jar set up for those who’d like to donate.
Accomodations
I have a block of rooms being held at a discounted rate at the Winchester, VA Comfort Inn. The hotel is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from both Ducati Winchester and my house.
